COMPETITION TIME!

Happy August to you all!

It's the last summer month, but there's still lots left to smile about with beautiful harvest days ahead of us. Living in the countryside offers interest and richness to my life at any time of year and August is no exception. Golden wheat fields contrasting with the mature lush green trees on a backdrop of stormy grey clouds or soft blue is a sight to gladden any heart. Look out for sunsets at this time of year, have you noticed how the sun turns red as it drops from the sky and throws shafts of crimson onto the trees?

This month I have been busy designing a new cushion and it is now ready to be made up - once my new fabrics arrive from Abraham Moon. The new Beastie on the block is a horse and just like his fellow companions - he is wearing a hat; but what is the hat?

To celebrate August and to make the new launch even more fun EllyJules is having a competition to guess the style of hat that the horse is wearing.
