WEBSITE SPRING/AUTUMN CLEAN COMPLETED
It's been a while since I last blogged but I haven't been resting on my laurels - or my coffee sacks. As you will see, I have a lovely new look to my website - I hope you like the video giving you a few tasters of what is on offer!
New to my pages are Recycled Coffee Sack makes, a brand new GIFTS page plus some of the old regulars.
It's certainly been a very different year with all of my regular craft fairs cancelled; I've really missed meeting fellow traders and my lovely customers. Read below how we are fighting back to create new opportunities!
Halloween bunting is the new kid on the block. Completely ethical, it has been made from recycled coffee sacks and cut into quirky (as in not perfectly square) shapes with tweedy ghosts and pumpkins made from scraps of wool fabric. Even the string, that is threaded through the flags, is from the coffee sacks.
You will find more of these lovely cosmetic bags in the GIFTS section. In keeping as always with the ethical theme, these bags are made with British Wool from Abraham Moon and lined with either organics or remnants/rescued fabrics. No plastic zips in sight - the bags are closed with a magnetic metal clasp and finished with my lovely sustainably sourced wooden buttons. A perfect gift!
As I said above - many of us have got together to organise online markets and this Saturday I am excited to be taking part in The Creative Collaboration Market!
As the title suggests, it is a collaboration of local York creatives coming together to sell our wares. The Market is completely online this on Saturday 25th September between 10am and 10pm. So come along and bring a friend where you will find demos, friendly creators and some great discounts.
Hope to see you there!
